First steps of “Cultivating Women”, GBM’s project to help strengthen the Nueva Esperanza Cooperative
The Nueva Esperanza Cooperative began to use the inputs provided by GBM within the framework of the "Cultivating Women" project.
Without forests, life on Earth would not be possible. Forests, together with the oceans, are the lungs of the planet and their role in the fight against climate change is vital, absorbing every year some 2,000 million tons of CO2 (the main greenhouse gas and the main culprit of global warming).
GBM’s Community Relations area launched the project “Women Cultivators: Strengthening the Nueva Esperanza Cooperative”
As part of GBM's work with local communities, the Community Relations area initiated a project to strengthen a sustainable agroforestry production cooperative self-managed by women inhabitants of the GS1 reserve's area of influence.
GBM sealed an agreement with Avalanche for its implementation and will soon launch its fungible tokens for public sale on EMDX, a derivative DEX with a regulated compliant zone within EMDX. On the other hand, The NFTs will be published within some Marketplaces compatible with the network. The effective date of listing will be communicated very soon.
On 11/26 2021, Public Consultation on the project GBM-GS1 was carried out in the community room in Cruce Caballero. The aim was to inform local communities and to answer questions on the topic.
